The Grand Theft Auto 5 release date was reportedly delayed to May 2015 but Rockstar has finally put to rest the rumors surrounding the GTA 5 PC release date as they have released a statement about it.
“GTAV will be coming to PC on January 27th. We have not announced any changes to this date at this time,” as was confirmed by a Rockstar spokesperson on their official website.
As was reported by the Motoring Crunch, Rockstar has confirmed that the GTA 5 PC version is developed by the same dev team that handled the Max Payne 3 port. It should be noted that Max Payne 3 is widely regarded as one of the most PC optimized games from Rockstar as the came out with some solid performance and high-end technicalities from mid-range PC's. As such, it is safe to assume that GTA 5 is going to offer something similar.
The Motoring Crunch also reported that the GTA 5 PC version will have more to offer than those on the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game as the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V is set to arrive with increased resolution, graphic detail, advanced damage effects, weather effects and greater draw distance.
