"Community" season 6 is definitely happening! And with the upcoming run, fans are beginning to wonder whether the show's "six seasons and a movie" could really happen.
In an interview with MTV, "Community" cast member Gillian Jacobs, who plays Britta, dished on the possibility of doing the movie, and some juicy information about bringing back a fan favorite episode.
"We are a very broke television show, so I'd like to see us go on location," she said.
Jacobs said in reference to a season 6 paintball episode: "I heard rumblings of that, but they don't really tell us as actors anything, so it could be planned and I don't know about it."

In a separate interview with Vanity Fair, Jacobs shared what the "Community" cast felt when the show got axed by NBC. "We all sort of moved on, grieved the show, and started to get other jobs, and then on the very final days of our contracts Yahoo picked up the show. It is like the show that cannot die," she said.
Reports noted a 2015 Yahoo Screen debut for "Community" season 6.
Alison Brie, Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash are set to return next season. Paget Brewster and Keith David will be joining the show following Yvette Nicole Brown's and Danny Glover's exit.
Apart from the new cast additions, it certainly looks like fans will have a lot to look forward to this season. One being the show's 100th episode,
As IGN reported, "The Community cast are filming their 100th episode this week, and I paid a visit to the show's new sets (they had to move to a different lot thanks to that whole cancellation thing) where the Greendale gang were celebrating this milestone and the victory it represents."
