It looks like things in WWE's upcoming PPV event, Royal Rumble 2015 has gotten interesting as new rumors for the show have been revealed, and it involves all three members of Shield.
We start off with the Royal Rumble match as FANSIDED reports that the Lunatic Fringe, Dean Ambros will likely win the event, and the sudden win will give him a huge push in his WWE career throughout 2015. Although the website commented that Roman Reigns is the primary option to win the event, Dean Ambrose has been on fire in 2014 having several main event matches with the likes of John Cena, Seth Rollins, and more recently Bray Wyatt.
The Inquisitr adds that due to Ambrose's popularity with the fans, WWE management might consider him the favorite over Roman Reigns. But, don't count out Roman Reigns yet as he also had his fair share of success last year. He had a heated rivalry with Randy Orton, competed a Fatal 4-Way match with him along with John Cena, and Kane for the WWE championship, and winning a Slammy Award for being 2014's Superstar of the Year. Other WWE superstars who made their intentions clear to participate in the Royal Rumble match includes Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, Bad News Barrett, and Rusev.
Now we go to the last member of the Shield, and perhaps the most successful of the three, Seth Rollins. It was announced last week on Monday Night Raw, that the self proclaimed "standard bearer of the WWE" will be included in the John Cena Vs. Brock Lesnar championship match in the PPV, turning it into a Triple Threat Match.
Seth Rollins has been "the" top heel character in the company for many months ever since he turned on the Shield, and sided with the Authority stable. He has been involved with several storylines with his former teammates, and made several huge impacts in his career such as winning the Money In The Bank, and the captain of Team Authority at Survivor series.
It is already confirmed that Brock Lesnar would be leaving WWE after Wrestlemanian 31. It is a clear sign that Seth Rollins will likely main event Wrestlemania, even if he loses the match between Cena and Lesnar, he will still win in the end. Don't forget he still has the Money In The Bank contract, and a surprise cash in after the match would spell bad news to whoever won the title.
Wrestling fans cannot wait to see what happens at the end of the PPV as The Royal Rumble 2015 will on January 25, 2015 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
