It looks like the much anticipated Heroes Reborn tv series release date for 2015 has been cancelled if the reports and rumors are to be believed.
After weeks of no significant updates for the Heroes Reborn tv series, fans have begun speculating on whether the show has been cancelled or not.
As was reported by ComixForAll, NBC has allegedly cancelled or at the very least, delayed the Heroes Reborn tv series release date due to problems in casting and production. The report says that they are having trouble finding a good story that would let them hit their target audience of past viewers of the show and potential new fans. It was also stated that NBC is now very selective to their "superhero" programming and wouldn't settle for "unsure" products due to the genre being dominated by CW's The Flash and Arrow plus a bunch of new TV series from Marvel such as Dare Devil, Agent Carter and the Defenders TV series.
Previously, Tim Kring admitted to Inside TV that:
"(Heroes Reborn) takes place in a post-season 4 universe. So it will tie into some of the ideas that were left dangling."
"The vast, vast majority are brand new characters, brand new ideas. [Bringing back previous characters is] really only to give a sense of continuity and a tether to the original world. If it was all completely brand new, we'd miss certain elements that need to be there to give you that bridge to cross to something new. I approached Coleman because he was a character who had a spine through the series that allowed you to meet new characters. So he's a character I wanted to make sure had a little part at the beginning of this thing."
What do you think? Should they continue Heroes Reborn or should it cancel it? Sound off in the comments below!
