'Man Of Steel' Star Amy Adams Reveals Racy Past Job! Find Out Where The Multi-Award Winning Actress Worked At After High School!

She may be known as a talented actress with several awards under her belt but Amy Adams' past job doesn't come close to wearing gowns and walking on red carpets.

The "Man of Steel" star revealed to Entertainment Tonight at the Golden Globes Awards last Sunday that she used to be a Hooters waitress when she was younger.

Amy Adams' past job as a Hooters waitress was reportedly a "great way to earn money."

"It was a great job out of high school," she told ET host Nancy O'Dell during the red carpet interview. "I was a hostess at first and then I waited tables for a while and it was a great way to earn money for a car!"

Adams' elegant outfits right now subtly accentuate her curves, but back then, the "Man of Steel" actress said she had the body that could pull off a skimpy Hooters uniform.

"Well I was like 18, so everybody has the body at 18," she revealed.

"The pay - $7 an hour - was double the minimum wage, a fortune at the time," she previously told Vanity Fair in 2008. "As a hostess, [I wore] a discreet little tennis outfit; when I turned 18, that August, I was told, I could become a waitress and start earning big money."

According to Daily Mail, the Academy Award winner admitted that she "wasn't cut out to be a Hooters waitress" in a previous interview. She also only waited tables at the popular chain for three weeks.

"That was a short-lived ambition," she reportedly said.

As if to emphasize the irony, the "Man of Steel" star wore a simple powder blue off-shoulder gown at the Golden Globes. She also brought home the Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for her work in "Big Eyes."

The 40-year-old actress attended the first awards show of the year with her partner of 12 years, Darren Le Gallo.
