"Boyhood," "Birdman," "Transparent" and "The Theory of Everything" are the top movies and shows in last Sunday's Golden Globes 2015 winners list.
Richard Linklater's "Boyhood" earned the Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actress awards while "Birdman" took home Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy and Best Screenplay.
Meanwhile, Wes Anderson's "The Grand Budapest Hotel" won Best Comedy. Eddie Redmayne, on the other hand, won over Benedict Cumberbatch, Steve Carell, Jake Gyllenhaal, and David Oyelowo earning the Best Actor for portraying Stephen Hawking in "The Theory Of Everything."
For TV, "The Affair" got the Best TV Drama award as well as Best Actress.
A relatively unknown show, "Transparent" was given the recognition it deserved, winning Best TV Comedy or Musical as well as Best Actor in the category.
The CW earned its first ever Golden Globe win thanks to Gina Rodriguez' Best Actress in a TV Series (Musical or Comedy).
George Clooney, who received the Cecil DeMille award that night, had a touching moment when he thanked his new wife during his acceptance speech.
