The lawyer for Teresa Giudice threatened legal action over the prison rumors surrounding the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star, as he claimed that his client is doing fine.
Lawyer James Leonard Jr. told E! News that the information about Teresa Giudice suffering from withdrawal in prison are "blatantly false."
"Whoever is buying these bogus stories, you're wasting your money; whoever is reading them, you're reading pure fiction; and whoever is selling them, legal action will be taken," he said.
The lawyer added, "The reality is that Teresa is acclimating well to her current surroundings and she is keeping to herself. She has told me repeatedly that she is doing fine and that she is appreciative of the support she has gotten from her fans. She asks everyone to respect her privacy and that of her family during the coming weeks and months and she looks forward to being reunited with Joe and her girls."
Meanwhile, the Us Weekly magazine gave a tease of what will become of Teresa Giudice's prison life after talking to several inmates at at Danbury Federal Correction Institute in Danbury, Conn.
The magazine claimed that the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star's original intention to keep a low-profile was not realized.
"All anyone is talking about is that woman - even the staff," an inmate reportedly told the magazine.
Another inmate claimed that the opposite actually happened as Teresa Giudice's prison life is about to get more complicated. "The vultures who want to be her bestie were all over her," the inmate said.
Meanwhile, Fox News reported that "Real Housewives of New Jersey" will go on despite Teresa Giudice's prison term.
"RHONJ" star Jim Marchese said: "From what I understand, it takes a three or four month break after filming. The time frames I would start to expect shooting wouldn't be for a month or two, and from the storylines -- people's lives -- there's so much that can still go on."
