Google Translate to convert Talk will be making language translation much easier and convenient! Tech News World reported via an article in The New York Times that Google Translate's mobile app will convert its output in written text.
This feature is now accessible via Google Chrome for some global languages. Android Police revealed in December that this app will listen to two people speaking in their native language, then will produce translated statements of the things said by the two people into each person's native language.
Google is reportedly planning to include Word Lens app, as revealed by the Android Police. This app will translate words and symbols in foreign languages when the smartphone's camera is focused on these entities.
Google Translate to convert Talk:
"is a very interesting application," "(and the upgrade will give it) a whole lot of interesting possibilities in law enforcement, government, at the DMV ... and put Google in a good position to further monetize," according to Mukul Krishna, a 'Frost And Sullivan' senior director.
Krishna, however, cautioned that the Google Translate to convert Talk is:
"Is not Star Trek, where you have a universal translator,"
"but it's definitely a step towards that, where you begin making the move from being noncommunicative to at least being able to communicate."
Google users all over the world should expect language barriers to be streamlined to maximum resolution, thanks to the new generation Google Translate!
