Shakira took her baby bump for a ride around Barcelona as Gerard Pique's girlfriend was joined by her brother to take in the sights before the birth of child no. 2.
According to Daily Mail, Shakira and her brother Tonino were seen in Barcelona, Spain on Friday as they made their way to their car. The singer's baby bump is showing as she's scheduled to deliver this month.
"The Colombian star was taken through a busy crowd of people, seemingly managing to go unnoticed in the throng," it said. "That could have been down to the fact her long, blonde tresses seemed to be styled in a larger-than-life 'do, and she also donned a pair of sunglasses."
Shakira and boyfriend Gerard Pique, along with their son Milo, spent the New Year's holiday in Spain. Milo was born in January 2013.
"The happy couple joined their parents for holiday celebrations on the gorgeous landscapes of Pirineos Catalanes," said Radar Online. "Despite a weighty belly, Shakira seems unaffected by the pregnancy. The Voice judge signed off 2014 with some sledding, which she proudly shared on her Instagram account."
Motherhood has really changed the perspective of the Latina star, even partnering with toymaker Fisher-Price to create a new line of toys, proceeds of which will go to the poor Colombian children through her Barefoot Foundation.
"I wanted to design a line of toys that stimulated development in the crucial early stages of life, the stages in which learning can be achieved through supervised play, fostering the development of psychological, social and motor skills," she said.
On a personal note, Shakira has been providing updates to her fans about her baby bump.
In an Instagram post last year, while she posed with boyfriend Gerard Pique during the Puig's 100th Anniversary, Shakira described her baby bump as her new favorite accessory. She captioned the photo, "Celebrated my partner Puig's 100th Anniversary tonight and wearing my new favorite accessory, #Rock!"
