"Community" season 6 will have the answers as to why notable cast member Yvette Nicole Brown left the show, new reports suggested.
According to Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Dan Harmon "did confirm that the premiere will address the departure of original series star Yvette Nicole Brown."
"It sounds like there's an open-door policy for drop-ins from Brown and Donald Glover," the site added.
Rumors are also going around that another cast member will return this season. Will Chevy Chase's character rise from the grave?
"If you were to take a man and bring him back to life like that, I think you would want to keep that a secret," Harmon teasingly said.
"Community" season 6 has started filming with mainstays Alison Brie, Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash. New cast members Paget Brewster and Keith David are set to deliver laughs this season as well.
Meanwhile, other "Community" season 6 updates claim that the show will be patterned "to the look of the first season. We're going back to a more filmed look," cast member Jim Rash revealed to Yahoo TV. Apart from the familiar feel and look of season 1, season 6 will be shooting on location at the Los Angeles Community college. This will be another first since season 1.
Harmon further explained that the upcoming run going back to the feel fans loved "means building a foundation of immersiveness, believing Greendale is a real place, as opposed to surrendering to the fact that it's kind of a magical place. There's no episode so far where everyone's a Roman gladiator."
"Community" season 6 will air on March 17 on Yahoo Screen.
