Bruce Jenner apparently hired extra security following the sex change rumors frenzy, as Kris Jenner and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner brood rallied behind the former Olympian.
London's Mirror published a photo of Bruce Jenner being accompanied by a bulky man as he stepped out of a studio in California on Thursday.
"The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star wore a blue cap and bright red golf shirt with a pair of simple black trousers as he made his way to his car, while a burly security guard led the way, making sure that people didn't get too close to Bruce," it said.
The extra security was warranted after the In Touch Weekly magazine ran a cover story about Bruce Jenner supposedly coming out following a sex change. The tabloid also published the photo of the former Olympian superimposed on the image of a middle-aged woman.
Interestingly, Bruce Jenner was seen still wearing his wedding ring despite the divorce with ex-wife Kris Jenner already finalized.
Meanwhile, Kris Jenner and the rest of the clan are behind Bruce Jenner 100% despite the sex change rumors.
While a lawsuit is not in the offing, the Kardashians have cut off ties with the tabloid.
"Kris (Jenner) has cut off contact with In Touch, Life & Style and all Bauer publications," the source told NY Daily News. "They won't get any 'real' quotes from the family, and will be banned from Kardashian-Jenner red carpets, events, premieres and fashion events."
However, another source said that cutting off ties with the magazine won't mean In Touch will no longer run future stories regarding Bruce Jenner sex change rumors.
"In Touch doesn't care if the Kardashians don't speak to them. They felt betrayed anyway, that the family used them to get famous, then dumped them," the source told NY Daily News.
