The nominees for the Best Couple Award for the 2012 KBS Drama Awards are selected.
There are a total of 14 couples fighting for the award and the nominees are:

Gong Yoo and Lee Min Jung- Big
Baek Sung Hyun and Miss A's Suzy- Big
Lee Sang Yoon and Lee Bo Young- My Daughter Seo Young
Shin Hyun Jun and Kim Jung Eun- Oh LaLa Couple
Kim Kang Woo and Jo Yeo Jung- Haeundae Lovers
Uhm Tae Woong and Lee Bo Young- The Equator Man
Lee Hee Joon and Jo Yoon Hee- My Husband Got a Family
Kim Nam Joo and Yoo Joon Sang- My Husband Got a Family
Kim Sang Ho and Shim Yi Young- My Husband Got a Family
Oh Chang Seok and Hwang Seon Hee- TV Novel Dear Love
The surprise of this year is the nomination of Joo Won and Park Ki Woong from Bridal Mask. They acted as best-friends-turned-enemies, Lee Kang To and Kimura Shunji, in the historical drama.
This kind of nominations are not rare but not as common. In 2010 Song Joong Ki and Yo An Ih were nominated as best couple for their roles in Sungkyunkwan Scandal and won the award.
The winners are chosen by online voting (40%) Panel of Experts (30%) and Reporter vote (40%).
The winners will be known at the The 2012 KBS Drama Awards taking place on December 31, 2012.
