Johnny Depp and fiancee Amber Heard looked very much in love during the red carpet event for the premiere of "Mortdecai" in London.

The 51-year-old "Pirates of the Caribbean" star and the 28-year-old "Magic Mike XXL" actress were holding hands while posing for the cameras.

Amber Heard was garbed in a black blazer which she paired with baggy trousers. "She wore her golden tinted locks in tousled curls, while keeping her makeup simple with winged eyeliner and a touch of blusher," said Daily Mail.

Johnny Depp, meanwhile, "looked dashing in his black tailored trousers and matching blazer, which he teamed with a burgundy coloured shirt and a handkerchief of the same shade," it added.

The synopis for "Mortdecai" reads: "Juggling some angry Russians, the British Mi5, his impossibly leggy wife and an international terrorist, debonair art dealer and part time rogue Charlie Mortdecai must traverse the globe armed only with his good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting rumored to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold."

According to Joel Harlow, Johnny Depp's make-up artist, the mustache that Amber Heard's fiance wore on the film is a character in itself.

"The mustache plays a huge part in the film, it's almost a separate character," he told USA Today.

"Onscreen it's a great source of pride to Mortdecai, and angst with his wife (Gwyneth Paltrow). And Johnny works it in the movie. He knows what a mustache can do and how to use it."

The make-up artist added, "You don't want it to be overpowering on the face. For Mortdecai, he wanted it simple and elegant."

Although reported to be engaged, Johnny Depp and fiancee Amber Heard have yet to announce their wedding plans. Based on various reports, she was supposed to walk down the aisle in December last year but those proved to be false.
