Kobe Bryant and Nick Young are reportedly on the recruitment path as they try to woo Rajon Rondo and Goran Dragic, according to the latest LA Lakers news and rumors. In other development, the Black Mamba will reportedly retire after this season.

According to LA Lakers news and rumors, Nick Young, Iggy Azalea's boyfriend, is apparently helping the Lakers with its struggles by recruiting other all-stars to the squad.

"It's tough, but I know it's going to get better. This offseason is going to be big for us. It's going to work out," he told the Los Angeles Daily News.

In fact, during their loss agains the Phoenix Suns on Monday, Nick Young spent a good amount of time wooing the opponent's all-star point guard.

"I told Goran Dragic on the court, 'You might be my teammate next year. I'll talk to Marc (Gasol.) Me and him are cool. Kevin Love, I'll talk to him," he added.

Kobe Bryan, for his part,t is grooming Rajon Rondo to try to convince him to leave the Dallas Mavericks in favor of the Lakers.

"No way," Bryant told the Boston Herald. "I'm not done. I'm not stopping until he signs an extension."

In other LA Lakers news and rumors, Kobe Bryant will reportedly step down after this season, or at least he's thinking about it.

"I'd be lying if I said that it hasn't crossed my mind. Right now I doubt it ... but anything's possible," he told The Times.

"My body is hurting like crazy, around the clock, and if I don't want to do this anymore, I won't do it," he added. "The Achilles' rupture gives you a lot of perspective, I think the Achilles' issue scared everyone.
