Which House Was Tom Felton Sorted Into In Pottermore? ‘Harry Potter’ Star Was ‘Heart Broken’ By Result! JK Rowling Responds!

After ten years of playing Draco Malfoy in the Warner Bros. franchise, "Harry Potter" star Tom Felton's Pottermore sorting finally helped him discover the truth about himself.

For years, fans have been seeing (and enjoying) the constant sneer on Malfoy's face as a proud Slytherin in the films. Tom Felton seemed to portray the Deatheater's son perfectly well. However, Pottermore didn't share the same opinion as the rest of the world.

"Today was the day. I finally did it. I joined Pottermore and was sorted into........Gryffindor. Heart broken x," the British actor shared on Twitter last Wednesday.

Tom Felton's Pottermore house wasn't the best part of the revelation.

"Harry Potter" writer JK Rowling somehow comforted the "heart broken" actor with a cheeky reply.

"I could've told you that years ago. I just didn't want to spoil your motivation ;)," the bestselling author replied to his Tweet.

The "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" actor also posted a photo of himself on Instagram looking very dejected as he stared at the Gryffindor banner on his laptop.

 Oh bollocks! x

Could this mean that he and Harry Potter would have been friends if Malfoy really tried?

Nevertheless, Tom Felton already proved his friendship to a lot of Gryffindor friends.

He supported Rupert Grint, who played Harry Potter's best friend Ron Weasley, on his first Broadway show last year by pranking him on the red carpet. Apparently, that was an answer to Grint wearing an "I [heart] Tom Felton" shirt for the "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" premiere back in 2011.

The rest of the cast - Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint - have not officially joined Pottermore yet. Which houses do you think will they be in?

Tom Felton's Pottermore sorting may have put him in Gryffindor but he still can't see himself as one. He proved this with the hashtag "#slytherinforlife" in his dismayed tweet.
