Christina Milian and Lil Wayne dating rumors were fueled with the alleged couple's new song. The "Christina Milian: Turned Up" star recently hinted that "Start A Fire" talks about their rumored relationship.
According to a report from Daily Mail, the singer turned reality star explained the story behind the Young Money mogul's new track. The R&B songstress is featured in the said song, being one of the most recent additions to Young Money's pool of artists.
The hip-hop love song appears to talk about Christina Milian and Lil Wayne, and the diva hinted about their rumored relationship when she talked about the track.
"(Lil Wayne) was the perfect person for (the song) because he wears his heart on his sleeve too," Christina Milian said.
"Yeah he can write songs about ''I wan't girls, I want this and that''... but he also sings about how to love shows vulnerability even in that."
"And I thought it was just such a perfect match," Christina Milian added.
She then revealed that her part in the song was written two years ago. However, the dreadlocked hip-hop star supposedly came up with his lines for "Start A Fire" just recently, and some speculated that it was because he was inspired by the sexy single mom.
"(It is) like a Romeo and Juliet story and when they're together when those two people are together it is a fire that ignites," Christina Milian shared.
"(Lil Wayne) writes about stuff that is happening in the moment and his time right now, so it is crazy that I did this years ago but now it takes a whole new meaning to me two years later."
The Daily Mail feature reported about how Christina Milian and Lil Wayne seemed to have used the son,g "Start A Fire," to get their feelings out in the open.
"These last six months have been a very exciting time in my life," Christina Milian confessed.
"My life is always changing, so when it comes to relationships and experiences, right now that's what's happening in my music."
"For (Lil Wayne) to do the same thing and to compliment that with each other... to just be ourselves... it is very special," Christina Milian admitted.
