After the first installment's success, fans are now anticipating the "Guardians Of The Galaxy 2" movie, which is slated for release in 2017.
Will the group of intergalactic misfits meet a new member or some new characters?
According to Cinemablend, Peter Quill, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Dax The Destroyer and Groot might meet another Marvel comicbook character - in print.
Marvel Entertainment reportedly revealed that Howard The Duck will find himself in the hands of The Collector. Because of that, he will be "crossing paths" with the Guardians, The Hollywood Reporter shared.
Although this particular arc will mainly be released as a comicbook story this April, Cinemablend suggested that fans "could start seeing more of him" in the "Guardians Of The Galaxy 2."
"Howard's first big case has taken him across the universe and landed him in the clutches of The Collector! But he's not alone as the very popular Rocket Raccoon is a prisoner as well! Have you ever seen a comic book sequel to a post-credits scene in a movie? Well, you will now," the issues official solicitation statement read.
"James Gunn stated that he will be expanding the roster as well as the 'galaxy' next time in an effort to top himself," The Inquisitr previously reported as well.
Could Howard The Duck be one of the new characters being considered by Gunn and the rest of Marvel's executives?
Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper, who brought the feisty Rocket Raccoon to life through his voice, talked about the sequel and his working relationship with director James Gunn.
When MTV News asked him about the sequel, the "American Sniper" star admitted that he had no idea what the plot will be.
"I don't know how it'll work," he said. "I just do whatever James Gunn tells me to do."
It looks like the details for "Guardians Of The Galaxy 2" is still completely under wraps, even from its actors.
