It looks like CM Punk's UFC Debut and first MMA fight would be on July 25, 2015 at the UFC on Fox 16 event, if the reports and rumors are to be believed.
UFC on Fox 16 is going to be on July 25, 2015 and it would be held on the United Center at Chicago, Illinois, the home town of Phil Brooks aka CM Punk. According to the report of MMA insider "Jujigatame" on the /asp/ board on the popular image board, 4Chan, the UFC is looking to take advantage of the event being in CM Punk's hometown and that they're going to put CM Punk's UFC debut on card so that CM Punk's debut would be welcomed with cheering fans instead of him being greeted with jeers.
Previously, we we have reported that It is no secret that a lot of MMA fans are not happy with CM Punk being in UFC though, as they claim that the UFC is best MMA league right now and CM Punk should not be in there yet as he has not proven himself yet.
Even Joe Rogan admitted that CM Punk shouldn't even be able to fight in the UFC in his first MMA fight:
"Should he be able to fight in the number one organization in the world in his first fight? NO" says Joe Rogan.
But he admits that CM Punk's celebrity status could be good for the UFC, financially.
But is CM Punk ready for his first MMA fight?
Legendary WWE commentator, Jim Ross, told Inside MMA that CM Punk is going to be very well prepared physically and mentally in his first UFC fight.
Meanwhile, CM Punk has admitted that there is no set opponent for him yet but he is doing his best during his training session with Duke Roufus.
