Teresa Giudice reported to the Danbury, Connecticut facility to serve her 15-month prison sentence earlier this month.

While Teresa’s away, her 14-year-old daughter Gia Giudice seems to be taking on the duties of mom for her three younger sisters, 9-year-old Milania, 8-year-old Gabriella and 3-year-old Audriana, according to UPI.

“Teresa and Gia have always had more of a friendship than a traditional mother-daughter relationship,” a source told Radar Online.

The insider added, “Gia is stepping into the mother role. It comes naturally since even when Teresa was around Gia was frequently responsible for disciplining her siblings.”

Teresa Giudice is reportedly expected to be released early on February 5, 2016, according to People. Before her mom reported to prison, Gia had reassured the 42-year-old reality television star and the RHONJ fans that her family will be just fine.

“My family is probably one of the strongest families I know,” Gia told Access Hollywood, according to the Daily Mail.

She added, “So we’ll get through this. It’s gonna be fine. And when it’s over, we’re gonna be better than ever.”

Teresa Giudice will reportedly only be allowed 12 visits per month with her family, and she’ll have to pay for up to 300 minutes a month of evening phone calls. After Teresa finishes her jail time, her husband, Joe Giudice, will reportedly be serving his 41-month sentence.

The girls and Joe reportedly recently visited Teresa in prison and apparently, the mother-of-four looked amazing even in prison.

“It’s nothing like anyone would expect. They just had her makeup done,” Gia stated, according to Page Six.

She added, “It was so good seeing her. It was fun.”
