Is ‘Negativity’ Of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Driving Stassi Schroeder Away? Cast Member Officially Ends Friendship With Katie Maloney

“Vanderpump Rules” might be very close to losing a semi-valuable cast member of the show, Stassi Schroeder.

Now that her friendship with her former BFF Katie Maloney has come to an end, Schroeder, who has complained about how the editing of “Vanderpump Rules” makes her look so negative all time, may be looking to leave for good, according to the Music Times.

“I’m kind of over the reality TV thing. It’s too stressful. It really is stressful,” the 26-year-old stated during an interview with Reality Tea.

She continued, “There’s so much negativity. Most people do reality TV as a stepping stone. They can use it as a platform. Anyone who chooses to do reality TV for the sake of doing reality TV has to be insane. Honestly, I’ve wanted to use this [TV show] to build up a following. I’ve been slowly working my way up in fashion. If I didn’t have the show, those things wouldn’t be possible.”

Viewers of season 3 of “Vanderpump Rules” has seen the demise of Schroeder’s relationship with her best friend after Maloney attended the bachelor/bachelorette party of co-stars Scheana Marie and Mike Shay. Schroeder reportedly doesn’t like the couple and wasn’t okay with Maloney attending the party, later calling her decision to do so a “betrayal,” according to The Inquisitr.

Maloney reportedly confirmed the end of her friendship with Schroeder on her Bravo blog.

“Imagine how insulting and frustrating it was for me to have my best friend be so unreasonably unsupportive and selfish about MY decision. Especially when I have been so supportive of her,” wrote Maloney.

She added, “We could be petty about it and say ‘How could I be friends with people that did such awful things?’ but I’m no longer 16 years old, and I live in a reality where people mess up and people disappoint. And frankly I’m an adult, and I realize there are bigger things in life, and if I let myself get caught up in petty details, I’m not focusing on more important things.”
