Chris Evans had recently made headlines after being photographed having lunch with “Supernatural” actress Lindsey McKeon.

Although there had been rumors that the “Captain America” actor and the gorgeous McKeon are dating, Chris Evans fans will be happy to know that that’s not the case.

McKeon reportedly got married in 2013 and if you look closely at the photo of the two together, a wedding band is visible on her finger, according to E! News. Evans and McKeon both starred on the series “Opposite Sex” back in 2000 and were reportedly just reuniting as old pals.

“They’re friends, and they’ve worked together,” a source told Us Magazine.

The insider added, “She’s married. Just a friendly catch-up. He’s still single for the most part.”

Chris Evans had reportedly most recently been linked to Minka Kelly, but the pair split in October 2013 after an on-again, off-again romance.

Despite the fact that “The Avengers” star is reportedly single, he may not be looking to date someone right now as he’s too interested in the upcoming Super Bowl. The 33-year-old actor took to Twitter after Sunday’s NFL playoffs to warn his buddy Chris Pratt that he’s preparing himself for the event.

Pratt, of course, responded by using Evans’ role as Captain America against him.

The somewhat friendly altercation turned into a very sweet bet between the two stars.
