Megan McMorris was able to get the greatest gift of 2015 after her 8-month-old daughter was given new glasses to help her address her sight problems, according to ABC News.

McMorris posted a video on YouTube of adorable Louise seeing her mom for the first time with her new glasses and the grin that follows may be the moment of 2015.

Louise was reportedly born with albinism, which means she has no pigment in her skin, hair or eyes, causing her to have debilitating sight problems, according to McMorris.

“Once she could actually see me, it’s like ‘Oh hi that’s you,” explained McMorris.

She added, “She’s happy. At least she didn’t start crying.”

The video now has over 4 million views and hopefully there will be many more to come since Louise can finally play with her older brother Mason.

“She’s able to reach out for things because she can see them now,” McMorris told ABC News.

She added, “If I walk into a room, I can tell she can see something.”

The difficulties that McMorris experienced with her sight has reportedly resulted in the infant relying on her hearing more, which has allowed the mother and daughter to bond in a special way, according to NewsChannel9.

“I can sing to her and I know she’s really listening. It’s our thing. it’s a special moment,” stated McMorris.
