Kate Middleton will be vacationing in Mustique on an extended family retreat, and Prince William is reportedly going to be "home alone." Is leaving Prince William behind a good idea?
Absolutely not. The last time the Duchess of Cambridge left town or was separated from Prince William, the royal heir supposedly went on a Spanish getaway with Jecca Craig. Kate is worried that the couple's facade as the perfect couple is breaking down and leaving Prince William behind to tend to himself may lead to another fling.
Historically, the monarchs have had trouble sticking to monogamous relationships. King Henry VIII, for example had more than five wives. He beheaded Anne Boleyn, one of his last partners, so he could marry someone else.
This approach to women and relationships has been a dominant theme in Prince Charles' wedding. Charles had an affair with Camilla while he was reportedly married to Princess Diana. Distraught Lady Di later turned to other social circles and died in a fatal car crash in Paris, accompanied by her Egyptian boyfriend Dodi Fayad.
Some of the concerns Kate has was the discontentment the Duchess experienced while she was on medication for an extreme form of severe form of morning sickness, which the Duchess experienced when she was pregnant with Prince George.
"Kate's official excuse was that she was recovering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, but doing that away from all the medical experts at Kensington? And for a month?" Celebrity Dirty Laundry noted.
Queen Elizabeth then ordered Prince William and Kate Middleton to go on a "babymoon" to Scotland for a while to work on their marriage and stop fighting with each other.
Fortunately, Kate eventually moved back to Kensington with Prince William after returning from their babymoon.
