Does Anyone Care About Stephen Collins Anymore? ‘7th Heaven’ Actor Fading Fast In Hollywood

Actor Stephen Collins and his wife Faye Grant have reportedly finalized their divorce shortly after molestation allegations against the former “7th Heaven” star surfaced.

As details of his highly publicized divorce continues to make headlines, the 67-year-old actor’s career seems to be fading very quickly as his career seems to have come to an ultimate stop after the audio footage of Stephen Collins reportedly admitting to molesting young girls was leaked online, according to the Toronto Sun.

After the footage was revealed, Collins was reportedly fired from “Ted 2” and “Scandal.” Both UP TV and TV Guide Network reportedly pulled reruns of “7th Heaven” amidst the molestation allegations as well, according to People.

Collins and Grant will reportedly divide the money they get for selling their California homes, but there will be no spousal support for either of them. However, Grant will reportedly receive some of Collins’ pension plan and investment income each month, according to the NY Daily News.

A divorce trial was reportedly scheduled to begin next month. The trial would have reportedly focused on the financial fallout from the release of the therapy session audio.

Collins has reportedly admitted to the incidents that occurred between 1973 and 1994, according to the statement that he released to People magazine in December.

“Forty years ago, I did something terribly wrong that I deeply regret. I have been working to atone for it ever since,” Collins wrote.

During an interview with Katie Couric, he reportedly stated that he is not a pedophile and that he has controlled his urges since 1994. He also reportedly revealed that a woman repeatedly exposed herself to him when he was between the ages of 10 and 15, which has distorted his perception, according to the website The Talking Sloth.

“I never felt like I was molested,” stated Collins.
