Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's reality show got axed after just one season. According to a report from Us Weekly, the "How Do I Live" singer posted a message on Instagram after confirming that their flop VH1 series has been cancelled.
Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's reality show first aired in the middle of last year. The series was said to have been produced so that the controversial couple would have a chance to air their story. Daily Mail recalled how the two made news when they allegedly had a relationship during the filming of TV movie "Northern Lights".
Back then, Leann Rimes was still married to former dancer and actor Dean Sheremet. Her "Northern Lights" co-star was also then married to "Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville, with whom he shares two children.
Us Weekly reported how the country star was initially very excited about the Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian reality show.
"This show gave us an opportunity to take back our lives in a way and show a different side of us than what people really believe," Leann Rimes explained.
"Look, if their minds are changed or opened or whatever, that's wonderful."
"But if not, I don't think we're really set up to change anyone's mind," she pointed out.
True enough, VH1 recently confirmed that they are cancelling Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's reality show.
The 32-year-old country star posted a message on Instagram to affirm her stand on the cancellation following just one season.
"Built....from the ground up... And proud of it," Leann Rimes said via Instagram.
"#stillbuilding #since5yearsold lol #letsdothis #strength #persistent" #dreambig," she added.
According to an earlier feature in Daily Mail, the country singer admitted how she and the 41-year-old actor defied so many odds to be together.
"We fought so hard to be together; there's a bond between us that I think most people don't have," Leann Rimes said.
