Ansel Elgort and girlfriend Violetta Komyshan engaged in a PDA at the JFK airport Thursday as the "Insurgent" star hugged his high school sweetheart goodbye before heading to another gate.

According to Daily Mail, the lovebirds just returned from the Milan Fashion Week and while she's about to head out of the airport, he's on his way to another gate to catch a flight for the Sundance Film Festival.

"Insurgent" star Ansel Elgort looked very ready for the long flight to Park City, Utah as he was garbed in a hooded Parka, tight-fitting jeans and workman's boots. He also carried two shopping bags along with his backpack.

"He strutted confidently through the terminal before stopping to say goodbye to his girlfriend as they hugged passionately," the article said. "Violetta's travel ensemble consisted of a monochromatic black coat, scarf, leggings and a pair of booties."

The tabloid described Ansel Elgort's girlfriend as "downtrodden" following their short goodbye.

According to a previous report from Us Weekly, Ansel Elgort and his girlfriend reunited because they miss each other's company.

"He thought his schedule was too much to have a girlfriend during, he's been touring nonstop for movies and working on music, but they talked throughout," the source said. "He didn't really see anyone else seriously while they were split."

Aside from movies, the 20-year-old is also trying to build a career as a music DJ under the state name Ansolo. But Ansel Elgort said in one of his interviews that he's trying to lay low from movies and pursue some of his interests because he's achieved so much at a young age in Hollywood.

The lovebirds met and fell in love at LaGuardia High School in New York.
