The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a bigger display than its rival, at 5.7 inches and its Super AMOLED that can render a resolution at 1080 x 1920 pixels with 386 ppi. The phablet's dimensions are 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3 mm, weighs 168 grams, and its protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 is equipped with a 4,5 inch AMOLED display that can render a resolution at 768 x 1280 pixels at 32 ppi pixel density.Its also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, weighs lighter at 158 grams, and its dimensions are 130.4 x 71.4 x 10.4 mm.
According to the GSMArena, the Samsung phablet is equipped with a quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400, partnered with a qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, and an Adreno 330. It has three sets of internal memories: 16, 32, and 64GB, and has a RAM capacity at 3GB. It originally ran on the Android OS, v4.3 (Jelly Bean), and will have the v5.0 (Lollipop) upgrade soon.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 on the other hand, is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, aired with a qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon, and Adreno 225 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM, an internal memory at 32GB, and runs on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8, upgradable to the v8.1.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 has a better camera than its rival at 41MP, with a secondary shooter at 1.2 MP. Its battery has a capacity 2000 mAh which last 13 hours and 20 mins in 3G.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a primary camera of 13MP, and better secondary camera at 2MP. The battery is at 3200 mAh capacity and can last up to 21 hours of talk time.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 is at $350, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 cost $500 on Amazon.com.
