Another seemingly fairy tale Hollywood couple announced their intention to break up last Saturday. A joint statement confirmed Mandy Moore And Ryan Adams' divorce.

"Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost six years," the statement said. "It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time."

The couple have been keeping their life away from the camera lenses and tabloids. That is why the break up was a shock to many followers.

"I'm a private person and I'll be a gentleman and say I'm not talking about my marriage ever. I'll never talk about it. Ever," Adams previously told Rolling Stone.

Meanwhile, Moore also shared her feelings to People about her marriage back in 2010.

"I feel very supported and loved and at peace. My life has reached this really beautiful point where I can sort of look around and go, 'Wow. I'm so lucky.' I got my own little happy ending,'" Moore gushed.

No reason has been given for the breakup and there have even been reports of the couple collaborating for the "Tangled" star's upcoming album.

The musical couple's professional relationship goes way back. According to Rolling Stone, Moore provided background vocals for her (soon-to-be ex) husband's songs "Trouble" and "Am I Safe." From his 2011 album, "Ashes & Fire," as well as his self-titled album.

In 2012, Moore announced that she will be coming out with a new album sometime in 2013 but it never happened.

Moore's last album was "Amanda Leigh" which was released back in 2009.

Will Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams' divorce cause this highly-anticipated new album to be postponed or worst, shelved?

If Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams' divorce ended on a respectful, amicable style, then there could still be a chance for the album to finally release the album.
