Lindsay Lohan was reportedly hospitalized after contracting chikungunya, a rare and incurable virus she picked up while in Bora Bora at the end of December.

Shortly after being hospitalized in London, Lohan has been receiving harsh criticism for her photoshopped underwear selfie on Instagram which she posted with the caption, “#mycalvins are helping me fight off my chikungunya hehe.”

Instagram users have reportedly noticed that the bottles in the background are slanted and are not standing straight, according to Yibada.

“Come on guys, the bottles are just leaning on air,” wrote Instagram user eeee003.

Despite the criticism she’s been receiving, loyal Lindsay Lohan fans have made sure to stand up for the “Mean Girls” actress.

“Photoshopped or not, she is still out of everyone’s league. Quit hating!! Girls just wanna have fun,” wrote Instagram user bolonai.

Another user, doright0051, wrote, “You are stunning.”

Lohan was reportedly admitted to King Edward VII hospital in London after suffering from a high fever and experiencing joint pain described as “unbearable,” according to TMZ. Lohan’s fever has reportedly broken and she’s since been released from the hospital, but still suffers from intense pain and has been referred to a specialist, according to the Huffington Post.

Lohan has attempted to stay positive throughout her treatment.

“I refuse to let a virus [affect] my peaceful vacation,” the actress captioned in one Instagram photo.
