We compare the Motorola Moto G against the Blackberry Q5 to know which smartphone is worth the purchase.

The Blackberry Q5 is equipped small 3.1 inch IPS LCD screen which can render a resolution at 720 x 720 pixels with a pixel density of 328 ppi. The handset is lighter than the its rival at 120 grams, and has the following dimensions of 120 x 66 x 10.8 mm.

Meanwhile, the Motorola Moto G has a bigger IPS LCD screen at 4.5 inches that can render a resolution at 720 x 1280 pixels and 326 ppi pixel density. Its heavier at 143 grams, its screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and has the dimensions of 129.9 x 65.9 x 11.6 mm.

For the hardware department, the Moto G is equipped with Quad-core clocked 1.2 GHz, which paired up the Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400 chipset, and an Adreno 305 for graphics. Its RAM capacity is at 1GB, and has two sets of memories: 8, and 16GB as the smartphones software runs on the Android OS, v4.3 (Jelly Bean), upgradable to the v5.0 (Lollipop).

The Blackberry Q5 on the other hand, has dual-core processor at 1.2 GHz, and its partnered with a qualcomm Snapdragon 4 chipset. Its internal memory is at 8GB, which can then be extended at 32GB with a microSD card, and a RAM capacity of 2GB. Its runs on the BlackBerry 10.2 OS which can be upgraded into the 10.2.1 version.

According to the specs from GSMArena,both devices have 5MP cameras with features such as autofocus, LED flash, check quality, geo-tagging, and touch focus. But, they have different secondary shooters as the Blackberry device is at 2MP, while the Moto G is at 1.3MP.

The battery of the Moto G is a Li-Ion one at 2070 mAh capacity that last 24 hours, while the Blackberry smartphone is at 2180 mAh that last 12 hours and 30 mins of talktime.

The Motorola Moto G is worth only $180, while Amazon.com stated that Blackberry Q5 unlocked version is worth $131.45.
