It looks like Carmelo Anthony wants to leave the New York Knicks to join the Miami Heat if the NBA trade rumors are to be believed.
The NBA trade rumors are buzzing and Carmelo Anthony is a hot topic at the moment.
Previously, the New York Post has reported that:
"Five months after swearing his allegiance to New York and signing a five-year, $124 million contract, sources told The Post the All-Star forward would be open to dropping his no-trade clause if team president Phil Jackson strikes a deal with a team Anthony would like to play for."
It was then stated by Carmelo Anthony's agent on December 2014 that the reports are simply not true:
"Carmelo, as always, is committed to the Knicks. There have never been discussions about trades or wanting to leave New York. Any story, rumor, report to the contrary is utter nonsense," says Leon Rose.
However, according to the rumors, Carmelo Anthony is simply not enjoying his stay with the Knicks and now that JR Smith has left the Knicks, Carmelo Anthony wants out too.
BehindTheHoop has reported that Carmelo Anthony allegedly wants to play with his friend, Dwayne Wade, and he wants to join the Miami Heat to do it.
However, the report states that the Knicks would have to get a good deal with the Heat for them to let of Carmelo Anthony but the Heat cannot simply give away anyone to Knicks.
