Fallout 4 is happening and Bethesda has confirmed its existence if the reports and rumors are to be believed.
The Fuse Joplin has revealed in their report that Bethesda is developing Fallout 4 at the moment and that fans can expect a 2016 release date.
Following this report, Cyberland reported that while rumors about Bethesda announcing the game at PAX south or PAX East are running rampant, Bethesda is actually planning to announce Fallout 4 at E3 2015. According to their report, Bethesda feels Fallout 4 is a big deal and only the E3 event is "worthy" of getting a Fallout 4 gameplay reveal.
Meanwhile, we previously reported that 4Chan users have uncovered a document allegedly belonging to Sony and that document contains details about upcoming games and Fallout 4 was included in the document. The document lists Fallout 4 as an "online multiplayer" game.
Is Bethesda using Zenimax to make to online versions of their popular franchises so that they could insert "improved" versions of the online functionality in their games?
Previously, we have reported that GameHype has reported that Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia would have multiplayer elements in the game. They have speculated that the online portion of the game would not tie in with the single player portion of the game.
With the Elder Scrolls franchise having an online game (ESO) and with the Fallout franchise rumored to have an online game (upcoming Fallout MMO/ Fallout Online), it could be speculated that Bethesda is pushing online versions of their franchises so that the online portion of Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 4 would be "perfected" by the time it comes out.
