PC gamers would finally get their hands on the Xbox One smash hit, Sunset Overdrive as Insomniac is now developing the Sunset Overdrive PC version if the reports and rumors are to be believed.

Gamers who have played Sunset Overdrive are singing praises for Insomniac and the game itself such as when Polygon gave a 9.0 rating for the game and said:

"As a collection of mechanics and ideas, Sunset Overdrive is an impressive evolution of things Insomniac has been doing for a long time. Every part of Sunset Overdrive hooks into every other part somehow, and often in multiple ways, and it makes the whole shooting, grinding, wall-running package better for it. But the best thing about Sunset Overdrive is how it's unabashedly enthusiastic about what it is, in just about every way. That enthusiasm, and the freedom behind it, is contagious."

And for a while, PC gamers who don't own an Xbox One have missed out on the fun. But not anymore, as Cyberland has reported that the PC version of Sunset Overdrive is in development.

In their report, Cyberland said that Insomniac is developing the PC version of the game and that playable build of the game exists. The report also states that while Insomniac isn't promising anything in terms of the release date, fans can expect it to be released this 2015.

The playable build of the game existing could give proof to previous reports that an anonymous poster on the /v/ board of 4CHAN has posted a link of the alleged Sunset Overdrive PC version on the Steam Database. Cyberland notes that the thread quickly devolved into a console war which resulted in the thread being removed immediately. But before the thread was removed a bunch of gamers have claimed to have seen the Steam Database entry and could confirm that the Sunset Overdrive PC version is indeed real.
