New details for the new Silent Hill video game, Silent Hills have been revealed courtesy of Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima.
According to reports from Crossmap, Hideo Kojima shared new details regarding Silent Hills' development.
"Development is cycling between either allowing players to choose to play the whole game in first person or third person, or keeping it fixed third person and having some areas be first person only. Either way we want to do something with first person. The game will not be out more than likely until 2016, lots of time left."
Kojima also teased fans that Silent Hills will have an "open-world" style gameplay with the help of Fox Engine, during an interview with WhatIfGaming.
"All I can say is that Fox Engine is meant for open world. I cannot discuss more on the game design itself in detail yet."
But that's not all, It seems that the release date for Silent Hills has been leaked online, and its rumored to launch on Halloween 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and for the PC.
Segment Next further adds that Kojima and his team are planning to releasing the game in a episodic fashion, similar to how Resident Evil Revelations 2 is going to launch. Currently, they researching several TV series as they are devising a strategy on how to promote game properly based on the data they have gathered.
So far, details of the game's plot has not been revealed and several game fans have come up with different theories about the game based on the P.T. demo last year.
Other gaming fans believed that Silent Hills will also get the Unreal Engine 4 treatment similar to other game's such as Tekken 7 and Kingdom Hearts 3, although this one is still unconfirmed.
