“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice reported to prison earlier this month to serve her 15-month prison sentence.
Despite being a fan favorite, especially since her infamous table flip during the early RHONJ days, Giudice may be replaced as she serves time.
The new season of RHONJ may reportedly go into filming soon and since Teresa Giudice clearly won’t be able to film, the casting director and producer of the show, Christina Caparoula, tweeted that she’s searching for a replacement, according to HollywoodLife.
“Casting Season 7 of Real Housewives of New Jersey,” tweeted Caparoula on January 26 followed by her email address.
There had previously been reports that Giudice would be launching her own cooking show after she is released from prison, but they have yet to be confirmed. What the mother-of-four will do if she is officially released as a cast member of RHONJ is still unclear.
While serving her prison sentence, Giudice is reportedly focusing on getting into shape.
“She’s getting in the best shape of her life. Every night she hits the gym and has been asking friends to send her workout videos,” a source told Us Weekly.
Giudice is also reportedly making a list of things she’s planning on doing when she’s released on February 5, 2016, according to Extra TV.
Teresa Giudice reportedly got a visit from her husband, Joe Giudice, and her four daughters, 14-year-old Gia, 10-year-old Gabriela, 8-year-old Milania and 5-year-old Audriana, according to E! News. Being in prison reportedly hasn’t had an effect on Teresa’s beauty regime.
“They were amazed at how good she looks,” a source close to the family told the media outlet.
The insider added, “They thought her hair looked great.”
As for things back at home, Joe Giudice is reportedly doing a good job caring for the couple’s daughters.
“The house is in great shape. It’s very clean and tidy. When the girls got home from their activities, dinner was on the stove. Joe tucked them in and kissed them goodnight. It’s really sweet to watch them with him,” the insider added.
