Kanye West previewed his new video for "Only One" on The Ellen Show. "Only One" is the rapper's personal account of his and Kim Kardashian's daughter North West.
The clip stars Paul McCartney, and was directed by Spike Jonze. The video highlights the mood and intimacy between the father-daughter pair walking on a foggy day. Kanye keeps North from getting wet in the rain.
Ellen Degeneres began the session with Kanye saying, "We're talking about the new song "Only One" and we're going to show the world premiere of the music video."
Kim Kardashian tweeted that "Only One" is her favorite song, and that said she cries every time she hears it.
Kanye also discussed his marriage to the "Keeping Up with Kardashashians" star, and being a father to North. "I think I'm a better human being because of [Kim] and because of my daughter, and I have always someone to think about going home to," he said in an article by Huffington Post.
"Something for me to not only to be brave for what I want to do for humanity, but also to be more protective of myself for my family, because there's things I've done in the past that were considered negative, but I was really jumping in front of the tank for other people, or for culture, in a way. So now, I always have to have that in my mind that I have a family that I have to protect, too."
