Miss Beverly Hills Accidentally Rips Bikini Top Onstage, Miss California Aspirant Makes It To Top 5 Despite Swimsuit Malfunction

During the Miss California pageant, Miss Beverly Hills accidentally ripped her bikini top onstage. According to Daily Mail, seconds after Chanelle Riggan stepped in for the swimsuit portion of the show; her beaming smile was slightly changed by an 'embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.'

Canada Journal noted that the audience cheered the contestant to keep going despite the untoward incident. Miss Beverly Hills regained her composure, went through the stage while holding the back of her top in an attempt to cover up the wardrobe malfunction. Reportedly, the confident lady made it to the top five and was crowned 4th runner up.

"So tonight I accidentally ripped my bikini top off and flashed an entire online broadcast and audience at the Miss California USA pageant. But on top of that I also received fourth runner up at Miss California USA 2015, my first time ever competing at a state level competition out of 120 of truly the most beautiful women in the state," Chanelle Riggan wrote on social media. "I still cannot believe I made it to the top five. I am feeling so incredibly blessed tonight."

TMZ got a video of Miss Beverly Hills' wardrobe malfunction. The clip showed the Miss California candidate, who appears to be shocked at first, gathering herself gracefully onstage and finishing her ramp on the catwalk.

The blunder didn't last for long, just for few seconds before she managed to go back into action.

"Without missing a beat, she carried on down the runway, turned and grinned at the astonished crowd, before heading off stage," Daily Mail reported.

A video in the preliminary rounds of Miss California USA revealed more about Miss Beverly Hills. Hollywood Take reported that the clip shown Chanelle Riggan telling she's from Cal State Fullerton with a major in psychology. She's currently a member of the Power Players, the Anaheim Ducks cheerleading squad.
