"24: Live Another Day" cast Kiefer Sutherland will bring the skills he learned as Jack Bauer to "Top Gear" in a bid to beat the time of "Breaking Bad" actor Aaron Paul in the track.
Daily Mail noted that Kiefer Sutherland seemed "pretty sure of himself" as he prepares for a few laps in the track.
"With considerable amounts of stunt driving training under his belt, the 48-year-old had every right to be smug about his chances of getting to the top of the leaderboard in the motoring show's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment," the article said.
The time to beet is Aaron Paul, who also starred in "Need for Speed" movie, who clocked in at 1:45.7.
"Clad in a black jumper and grey T-shirt, the 24 actor pulled on a tight-fitting safety helmet as he got to grips with the red Vauxhall Astra on the track at Dunsfold Park in Surrey," the British publication said, adding that he's receiving advice from the Stig, the resident driving instructor.
Kiefer Sutherland might not come back as Jack Bauer in the follow-up to "24: Live Another Day."
During the Winter TCA Press Tour, Fox boss Dana Walden said that they were pitched a story by showrunners Evan Katz, Howard Gordon and Manny Coto of a story arc that might not include its star Kiefer Sutherland, said E! News.
"[Their pitch] was in the very origin stages and it could have gone either way. There was a point at which Jack Bauer could come in and fit very organically into their story or they were prepared to do something that would be the one installment without him," she said.
Dana Walden added that they haven't yet talked to Kiefer Sutherland about doing another "24: Live Another Day" season.
" Potentially he won't be in this installment. We're not sure yet," she added. "We're not that far along but I know he supports us doing more 24. We're not talking about continuing the show without him, we're talking about whether there's one installment that he's not in...I look at everyone that surrounded Kiefer in that last installment and I think it could work."
