We compare the Nokia Lumia 625 to the Micromax Canvas ED A115 to see which of these smartphones is the better purchase.
In terms of display, both smartphones have the same rendered resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, but with different screen displays and pixel densities. According to the Fuse Joplin, The Nokia Lumia 625 is equipped IPS LCD display at 4.7 inches with a pixel density of 199 ppi, while the Micromax Canvas ED A115 has a 5.0 inch 3D display with a pixel density of 187 ppi.
The Micromax handset is equipped with a dual-core processor at 1.2GHz, being partnered by the Mediatek MT6577T chipset and a PowerVR SGX531u for graphics. Its equipped with a 512MB of RAM, an internal memory of 4GB expandable at 32GB with a microSD card, and operates on the Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean).
Meanwhile, the Nokia Lumia 625 has a Dual-core 1.2 GHz Krait processor, powered by a Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon 400 and Adreno 305 for graphics. It has an 8GB internal memory that can expand up to 64GB, a 512MB of RAM, and runs on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8, upgradable to the v8.1 software.
For battery and camera specs, GSMArena stated that both smartphones have 5MP and VGA cameras, with features such as autofocus, LED flash, and geo-tagging. But difference lies on how they can record videos. The Nokia handset can record 1080p@30fps, trumping the Micromax handset's 480p@30fps.
The Fuse Joplin adds, that are also equipped with non-removable Li-Ion batteries at 2000 mAh capacity. However, the Lumia 625 can last 15 hours and 10 minutes of talk time on 3G, while the Micromax Canvas can last 4 hours and 30 minutes of talk time on 3G.
The fonearena stated that the Micromax Canvas ED A115 cost approximately $188.89, while the Nokia Lumia 625 will cost $200.
