Get ready gaming fans as major spoilers for Rocksteady Studio's last Batman game, Batman: Arkham Knight have been revealed.
Reports from IGN indicates that the figurine statue of Batman in the Batman: Arkham Knight Limited Edition set contained the ultimate spoiler of the game. The Batman statue has some sort of writing engraved on it that says "From a Grateful City In Memory of the Gotham Knight."
Could this mean that Batman will die in the Arkham Knight video game? Rocksteady clearly stated that this is the last game in the series. But to kill off Batman in the end is something gaming, and Batman fans didn't expect.
Explosion.com commented that its an unlikely ending given that Rocksteady hasn't made a statement regarding this potential spoiler. However, the website compared the Arkham game series ending with Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Trilogy" films, where the Batman "dies" in the nuclear reactor explosion, so that Bruce Wayne can move on with his life, and have John Blake (Robin in this version) take his place to as Gotham's protector.
YouTube channel Machinima claimed before, that the Arkham Knight's true identity is an on original Batman character, and likely suspects were Ra's Al Ghul, Damien Wayne, Hush, and the deceased Joker.
Whether these potential rumors are true or not remains uncertain, and fans of the game series will just have to find out soon as Batman: Arkham Knight will launch on June 2, 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC.
