Ubisoft has set the Assassin's Creed Rogue PC release date to be this March 2015 if the reports and rumors are to be believed.
Previously, Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin's Creed Rogue would be released sometime in Early 2015 when they told Eurogamer that "The PC version is coming out early 2015. PC fans who enjoyed Assassin's Creed 3 and Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag will be able to discover the missing links between these two epic stories with Assassin's Creed Rogue."
Ubisoft has also confirmed the news to IGN, who also asked why the PC version of Rogue was coming a few months after than its console counterparts. Ubisoft admitted that the delay was "primarily for production reasons."
And now, Cyberland has reported that the Assassin's Creed Rogue PC release date is going to be this March 2015 and that Ubisoft allegedly promises that it would be optimized for PC and gamers can expect great performance from this title.
PC gamers should be excited for Assassin's Creed Rogue though as critics admit that it has one of the best stories in the franchise:
"Assassin's Creed Rogue may well have begun life as a hedged bet - a PS3 and Xbox 360 game knocked together in case the next-gen consoles hadn't taken off by now - but despite its slightly awkward role as b-side to Assassin's Creed Unity, the result is a welcome follow-up to Black Flag. It's a shame that being a Templar isn't very different to being an Assassin (given that Haytham Kenway turns up occasionally, bristling with charisma, you could also argue they made a game about the wrong Templar), but if you remember Black Flag fondly and fancy a bit more of that, this is actually pretty great." As was noted by Eurogamer
