Gina Carano returning to the MMA cage has been the talk of the town since late last year. But recent news added spark to the possibility that Henry Cavill's former girlfriend might go back to mixed martial arts soon.

According to bloodyelbow.com, Gina Carano was spotted working out recently at Combat Sports Academy in Dublin, California with Zoila Frausto-Gurgel and Jennifer Ferguson. The latter posted a snapshot of them to Instagram after their training.

The website noted that it is not yet clear if the former "Strikeforce" champ's physical activity at the gym is in preparation for something bigger later on, or it's just her way of getting fit.

Whatever reasons Henry Cavill's former girlfriend have in training, one thing is clear, if Gina Carano will fight again, according to scifighting.com, "she would be bound to compete in the UFC because of its acquisition of Strikeforce."

It can be remembered that UFC President Dana White has been pissed off in negotiating with the former EliteXC fighter.

"The hardest human being we've ever dealt with and I didn't see it coming," White said. "I don't know, we'll see how these things play out. Just incredibly difficult. We've dealt with (Brock) Lesnar, Tito (Ortiz), Chuck (Liddell) was f--king king of the world, Ronda Rousey, we've pretty much done deals with everyone on Earth and she is the hardest f--king athlete we have ever dealt with."

In a previous report from Fox Sports, Dana White said he's not holding any personal grudges with Gina Carano but he believes Henry Cavill's former girlfriend is allowing her managers to handle the negotiations which made her return to UFC a difficult one.

Gina Carano's only loss in her seven bouts was against Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino in 2009. Since then, Henry Cavill's former girlfriend has not competed in the cage. For the time being, she is focusing on her Hollywood career.
