Fans can now play the "Battlefield Hardline" beta version. The release was made across all platforms for players to give the new title a test run.
The PC, Xbox one and Xbox 360 beta were the first to be unveiled, PS4 trailing behind with a Feb. 4 beta launch. Players can now enjoy the game for free, but for a limited time. Reports claimed that the test run will last only up to Feb. 8.
What can fans exactly expect in the "Battlefield Hardline" beta?
"Hardline's open beta will feature a small sample of the game's maps and modes. Players can try out the new Hotwire mode on the Dust Bowl and Downtown maps. Hotwire's kind of like Gone in 60 Seconds; the criminals must steal a list of cars while the cops attempt to reclaim them," Cinema Blend noted.
"The other new mode featured in the beta is Heist, playable on the Bank Job map. In this mode, the police protect a bank vault while the criminals try to blow it open and transport the loot to extraction vehicles. The match ends if the criminals manage to steal both parcels or if they run out of time."
"Battlefield Hardline" release date is all set on March 17, 2015 in North America, and March 19 in Europe. EA has recently confirmed the announcement after the highly anticipated shooter game's launch was postponed to next year.
Meanwhile, "Battlefield 5" release date is slated for the 2016 holiday season. The next instalment will return to the military theme of the franchise.
"Battlefield 5" release date updates claim that developers have hinted a "fun, new Battlefield," and that the new entry will have "More features. More extras. More destruction."
