If you are one of the people that love “flower boys” (young and good looking men) in your dramas, then “Flower Boy Next Door” is for you.
“Flower Boy Next Door” starring Park Shin Hye, Yoon Si Yoon, Kim Ji Hoon as the love triangle. Go Kyung Pyo, Mizuta Kouki, and Kim Jung San as the flower boys. This drama is based on the popular webtoon "Watch Him Every Day In Secret". This romantic comedy drama is about Go Dok Mi (Park Shin Hye) a super shy, and quiet girl, that haven't left her apartment in months, and secretly spies on the boys across from her building. Enrique Geum (Yoon Si Yoon) is a genius cartoonist, who has lived in Spain for a long time. He is bohemian, good looking and a little weird.
The drama already started airing this Monday (Jan. 7th). The drama is cute and funny. Is the type of drama Park Shin Hye usually stars in. The flower boys are obviously the big drawn here. I have a lot of expectations with this drama.
“Flower Boy Next Door” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 11:00 PM (KST) on tvN.
Other dramas that started this past week were:
“A Hundred Year’s Inheritance” starring Eugene, and Lee Jung Jin . This drama is about a family that has been running a noodle house for many years. The granddaughter of the house will start taking care of the family business after her divorce.
This drama airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:50PM (KST) on MBC.
TV Novel – Sam Saeng, tell the story of a woman, that after overcoming a near-death experience decided to change her identity and becomes a herbal doctor. This story is set in the 1970s. It also shows her love story.
The drama airs from Monday to Friday at 9:00 AM (KST) on KBS2.
Both of these dramas sound good and I am pretty sure, they will be a good watch. I love historical dramas of any kind, and if you do too, then “TV Novel – Sam Saeng” will definitely win your heart. I mean who doesn’t love a historical drama with a strong love story?
At last, KBS2 will air a special drama called “Sirius” starring Seo JunYoung and Ryu Seung Soo. “Sirius” will be about twin brothers Eun Chang and Shin Woo (Seo JunYoung) who will become enemies after Eun Chan steals Shin Woo's identity.
"Sirius" will air from January 6 - January 27, 2013 on Sundays at 11:45 PM (KST)
Well, January sounds good so far with these upcoming K-dramas. It will for sure be a roller coaster of emotions for us viewers. We also have different genres to choose from, and hopefully one of the many actors and actresses in one of these dramas, are one of your favorites. And if not then hopefully one of them will call you attention. I guaranteed you, they will put up a good for us.
If you think that January was the best K-drama producers could do, then wait till February, March and April. It's going to be amazing.
