Keith Urban has come full circle as he was interviewed during the G'Day USA Gala on Saturday and asked about the same topic: his wife Nicole Kidman.
About a decade ago, the "American Idol" judge was asked by Access Hollywood, "Are you going to ask Nicole on a date? You know, she's single now."
Keith Urban appeared flustered for a moment but coyly replied, "Uh, yeah, no, well you know...I'm just glad to be here."
According to Daily Mail, Keith Urban seemed "sheepish" when told of the same interview on a similar event for G'Day USA Gala a decade earlier.
"It was a beautiful night," he said. "We got married, had a couple of kids and it's been magnificent."
Nicole Kidman, however, has a more vivid recollection of the event a decade earlier, where she met husband Keith Urban. Geoffrey Rush claimed that it was him who introduced the two together.
To which Nicole Kidman replied: "Yes I did meet Keith here Geoffrey, everyone claims they introduced us but you can have it."
In an interview with HuffPost Live, Keith Urban complimented Nicole Wife for being a very good mother.
Australian actress Nicole adopted two children, Connor, 20, and Isabella, 22, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, who she separated with in 2001.
"I've got to say, I'm learning the most from Nicole about that," he said. "She raised two kids before her and I met and so much of what she has learned has come into play in our family in such a beautiful way."
"I'm so glad that Nicole is their mum...I'm just very grateful," Keith Urban said, explaining that he grew up with just another sibling so he got most of his parenting skills from Nicole Kidman.
In 2008, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman welcomed their daughter Sunday Rose via surrogate, two years after they tied the knot
