"Magic Mike XXL" trailer is not short of abs and pecs as actor Channing Tatum show off his mean moves in the workroom, reminiscent of an iconic 80s movie.

"In the opening moments for the stripper sequel, Channing Tatum is using power tools in a not too subtle nod to Jennifer Beals' welder-cum-exotic dancer in 1983's 'Flashdance,'" said Daily Mail.

In one scene of the "Magic Mike XXL" trailer, the "G.I. Joe" actor can be seen working in what appeared to be a fabrication shop. He's wearing a welding mask while creating something. Then he takes the opportunity to practice his stripper's craft as he dances and gyrates around the room, making use of his environment in creative ways.

According to the synopsis:

"Picking up the story three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, "Magic Mike XXL" finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel. But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them. On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways."

"Magic Mike XXL" cast Channing Tatum talked to Ellen DeGeneres about training very hard for the sequel and also how many celebrities wanted to join in the fun after the success of the first film.

"It's been insane. You want to put so many people in it. So many people wanted to do it. I mean, I wanted to put Chris Pratt in the first film but he couldn't do it because he's filming 'Parks and Rec," he said.

All the original cast will come back for the sequel, except for Matthew McConnaughey. But they will be joined by new cast members like Chris Pratt, Amber Heard, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Elizabeth Banks, and Donald Glover.
