It looks like a new Marvel movie will be stealing the "Thor Ragnarok" release date from the god of thunder.
New reports claimed that with Marvel's decision to remake and include Spider-Man in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, comes a delay in the anticipated 3rd Thor flick. The original July 28, 2017 premiere will now be handed over to the new Spider-Man, while "Thor Ragnarok" will get a November 3, 2017 release date.
With this recent move, a few other Marvel flicks included in their line-up will also get pushed back.
"However, that is yet another date that Marvel Studios has already set aside for one of their projects: Black Panther. Now that film is moving away from that scheduled release and getting eight more months of pre-production and will be coming out on July 6, 2018 (which you'll note now makes it the first film to come out after The Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1," Cinema Blend reported.
"That position was previously held by Captain Marvel, but now that project has gotten pushed back as well. Now the first female-led Marvel Studios film will be coming out as one of their big fall releases, scheduled for November 2, 2018."
Meanwhile, it has already been reported that Asgard will come to an end in "Thor Ragnarok." Thor will reportedly meet his end in this plot and will eventually pave the way for the "Avengers Disassemble" storyline.
But as new reports suggest, a lot can happen before "Thor 3" premieres on the big screen. According to JBG News, "Within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, there are two years between Avengers: Age of Ultron and Thor 3, which leaves a lot of time for things to happen. There are still a few more movies to take place before the release of Thor 3, and something could happen within those. Doctor Strange, for example, will release eight months before the next Thor film, and little is known of that story so far."
