The latest addition to the "X-Men Apocalypse" cast, Oscar Isaac, teased his appearance for the film while Fox have revealed the first look of En Sabah Nur aka Apocalypse.
Oscar Isaac, the latest addition to the "X-Men Apocalypse" cast, revealed that his version of Apocalypse in the upcoming "X-Men Apocalypse" movie would closely mirror the appearance of the comic book version of the character.
As quoted by The Hollywood Reporter, Oscar Isaac said that he hasn't "had a chance to look through the script and see what the exact requirements are, but I think it'll be a mixture of physical [effects], aided with some robotic technology."
The Hollywood Reporter then said that "In Marvel's comic book mythology, Apocalypse has been typically portrayed as a cyborg with limited shape changing abilities, dressed in an oversized suit of armor, which might explain the 'robotic technology' description."
Oscar Isaac then noted that he is "heading to do a head cast" and he notes that the process is "spend[ing] 3-4 hours with them putting plaster all over your head and they get a sense of what your face is like and what shape your head is, so they can start figuring out the costume and the makeup and all that stuff, which is pretty fun."
Meanwhile, Fox actually revealed what Apocalypse looks like before the "robotic technology" was applied to his body. During the end credits scene of "X-Men Days of Future Past", the mutant shown rearranging the giant pyramid is actually a young version of Apocalypse also known as En Sabah Nur.
The "X-Men Apocalypse" release date has been set by Fox to be on March 27, 2016.
