"Game Of Thrones" star Sophie Turner's character, Sansa Stark, in the highly successful HBO series left viewers in total shock last season with her very dark transformation.
After going through so much abuse in her young life, the eldest Stark daughter finally shed her damsel in distress image, opting for a darker look physically. Does this include her attitude as well?
According to Turner, Sansa's gothic makeover - both physical and emotional - in season five will definitely shock viewers even more.
The 18-year-old actress told Huffington Post that opting to change her dress and hair color was "a very conscious decision for her to kind of get away from her mother's Tully roots." She also wanted to "completely change everything everyone has ever known about her" with her "massive transformation."
"There's no Sansa left behind, and I think not just in the way that she appears but in the way that she's thinking now. How she's become this, like, massive manipulator in a way," the British actress revealed.
As for her "creepy" connection with Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen), "Game Of Thrones" star Sophie Hunter admitted that it will be a "very messed up, twisted relationship."
"I kind of love the storyline," she said, adding that Sansa now knows her power over the traitorous man and the new her won't hesitate to take full advantage of it.
"And together they create this amazing kind of tag team," she continued. "And, you know, to outsiders, it's very messed up and strange, but to her it's the only way she can get what she wants, and finally she has that power, so she's gonna use it."
Generally speaking, "Game Of Thrones" star Sophie Hunter shared that this new season will be "more shocking than the Red Wedding type of thing."
"There's also, you know, a lot of blood, a lot of death. And a lot of people kind of come far. And there are a few familiar faces around as well," she further teased.
