"Hannibal" season 3 spoilers suggest that the upcoming run will focus more on Hannibal's past.
According to Ecumenical News, season 3 will be loosely based on "Hannibal Rising," and will look deeper into the lead character's past through flashbacks.
"The plot for the upcoming season is at least partly based on the book "Red Dragon". Will Graham will engage in a cat-and-mouse chase all the way to Florence in Italy in order to track down gruesome Dr. Hannibal Lecter after season two's shocking finale. Screenrant reports that Hannibal's past will be extensively explored, just like in the book "Hannibal Rising" but writers will choose to eliminate certain parts of his past which will be shown in the form of flashback," the site noted.
Meanwhile fans are also looking forward for "Hannibal" season 3 to premiere so they can find out wht happens next to Jack and Alana. While spoilers have yet to give fans a clue about their fate, reports share fans' sentiments and wish that the pair is still alive.
Previous reports have already confirmed a slew of returning and new cast members that will be on board next season. Gillian Anderson who plays Dr. Bedelia du Maurier, Raul Esparza who plays Dr. Frederick Chilton, and Eddie Izzard, who plays Dr. Abel Gideon will most likely reprise their notable roles in the hit TV show.
Meanwhile, "True Detective" star Glenn Fleshler will join the cast next season as Dr. Cordell Doemling.
